HELLO! I am here to finish my last post of the trip. LOL before I start my this year trip. Am most likely going back to Taiwan, again! Anyway, here are links for my previous trip post:

So we are back in Taipei, we basically didnt have any plan in Taipei, just slp till whatever time that we like and decide when we are awake because we visited here for at least a couple of times already, visiting all those must-go places so Taipei is actually like another home country for us liao. Maybe those very local places we have not been, like those places that only local will know. Any locals who see this wanna intro me some special places?? More than welcome to hear from you really since I am going again probably in November. So Day 13, we went to Ding Tai Fung for our lunch. We went to the Xinyi store at Dongmen Station. Not sure about the flagship store but since my sis said it is then we shall head there!
You cant make reservation so only way is to come early to queue. Look at the people outside queuing!
Ok, I know abit kua zhang on the xiao cai. But I really love them alot! A must order dish whenever I dine at Ding Tai Fung. After which I think we went to Ji Long to visit their night market. The last time we came to Taipei we didnt really plan of that. Since we have more than enough time, why not.

Too early for the night market but we were hungry already after the travelling and walking

My sister saw this and wanted to try! sashimi for NT200 - 300~ HOW NOT TO RESIST?! quoted by my sister because I dont eat sashimi.
She say this is the most worth it and awesome sashimi. Very cheap and the quality is superb. Definitely not a cheapo sashimi. Go try it if you ever visit Ji Long.

I tried their crabmeat soup which was great as well! My sister bought abit of this and that to try too.
About time we finish the night market and heading back to hotel already.

The rest of the days, of course we visited wu fen pu for some shopping because I didnt do any serious shopping. Shilin night market and Shida night market as well. Went around shopping in Ximending too. And we caught a movie in Ximending too! because we really have too much time and didn't really want to shop already.
Cute soft toy that we chance upon in Shida!

SO THIS FINALLY END MY 2 WEEKS TRIP! WOHOO.

In Taiwan, I brought SGD1000 for taiwan currency exchange with about NT3000 from the last trip leftover. 10 days of Taiwan for SGD1000 inclusive of hotels and travel and expenses, I think it is pretty good planning so to speak. Total spending for the whole trip was SGD2800 for two weeks of Japan and Taiwan. Pretty cool right!

Next trip to Taiwan again, I shall take more n more photos to show you guys again!

Taiwan Day 12 - Butler Cafe & Taipei

Bid goodbye to the lovely nature cingjing early in the morning because it is a long journey back to taipei. Actually we plan to go to 六福村 but we decide to cancel the trip instead because first it is too rush and tiring, have to drag our luggage to the theme park and lock it there and definitely would have to spend a day to play before we head back to Taipei which would be super late at night. Secondly, one of the maid cafe staff introduce us to this butler cafe in taichung that we should go and visit so might as well have a relax Hi-Tea and head back Taipei than to rush our day. So we actually left our luggage at Taichung staion, they've got this luggage service whereby you pay an amount to keep your luggage at the station. It is by luggage size by the way, so i think ours were considered quite big so the fee wasn't that cheap thou. We did our research and also did a short chat with the staff on fb to understand how we should go. I remember we took a bus from the station and alight when we saw KFC. (sorry I couldn't recall the exact direction, regret not writing it down and blogging after so long), you can always check with the staff on fb or email them, they are quite friendly. The details of the butler cafe:
Michaelis執事喫茶(光大宅邸)
電話:(04)2201-5520
地址:台中市北區光大街26號
網址:butlers-cafe.tw (FB)

I think my sister book a very early time slot. Please go to their fb and check on the operation timing and such because I think there are certain days that they are closed.

There is minimum spending amount of NT150 per person I think.

The interior

small little cafe

As said, a butler cafe, they have different design of tea sets for us to choose from ( like a tai tai)

many nice design

books and their products as well

our european Hi tea. awesome much. I think this is about NT1400 I guess.

Very fulfilling and the staff are very friendly and interactive too. Lucky for us who cant really start a conversation with strangers, the manager of the cafe actually visited Singapore and know abit of it and of course they are very communicative. So the whole experience was really good plus the Hi Tea is really good as well. Too full to be true. And so it is about time to leave Taichung already because we bought our train ticket back to Taipei earlier. Resting time on the always comfy train!

Almost night time when we reach Taipei. We booked a hotel in Ximending for convenience sake. My sister found this hotel I guess. Abit of walking distance and away from the main ximending shopping area, probably a 10mins walk. But I guess it was pretty cheap that my sister booked it I guess. Think it was about $40 per person per night and we stayed for 4 nights. The hotel details:
大順大飯店 TS Hotel
No. 170-172, HanZhong St., Taipei, Taiwan
(near ChangSha St.)
Tel:886-2-2381-8710

HAHA! I was weighing my luggage, thinking what if it over-weight.

LOL! looks like a love motel.

Head down for our dinner because we were quite hungry by then

I still quite like this shop, not just because of the golden retriever but I like the food too. I couldn't really say it was top notch high class food either but it is like a comfy food for me.

As cute as always

not forgetting to visit this shop whenever we are here. My sister favourite shop but lucky this time she didn't buy anything, the last time here, she bought close to NT10,000 worth of things? Can you believe it. I think it was about there or definitely more than NT5000. 2 Shirts, a bag and a jacket. Crazy shit.

And we ended our day having a stroll around before crashing. Our trip is ending real soon too!
